Mobile veterinary care eliminates the stress and hassle of traditional vet visits. No more anxious car rides for nervous pets, no waiting rooms full of unfamiliar animals, and no chunks of your day lost to driving and waiting. We bring a fully equipped veterinary clinic to your driveway, complete with digital X-ray, ultrasound, surgical capabilities, and our own pharmacy. Your pet receives one-on-one attention in the comfort of their own home, where they’re naturally most relaxed. Most of our clients tell us they save 1-2 hours per visit, and their pets are noticeably calmer during exams. It’s veterinary care the way it should be: focused entirely on your pet, without the typical clinical stress.
Absolutely. Our mobile clinic is equipped with the same advanced technology you’d find in a traditional hospital: digital X-ray, ultrasound, complete diagnostic lab, full surgical suite, and dental equipment. We handle everything from routine wellness exams and vaccinations to soft tissue surgery, dental cleanings, and advanced diagnostics. The only services we don’t provide are 24/7 emergency care (we partner with Steel City Emergency Clinic for true emergencies) and procedures requiring overnight hospitalization. For the vast majority of your pet’s healthcare needs, we’ve got everything covered right at home. And because Dr. Miller isn’t rushing between exam rooms, your pet gets her complete, unhurried attention throughout the entire visit.
Our pricing are in line with most other traditional veterinary clinics in our area. Some things may be a little more, some a little less. We focus on providing the best possible care we can instead of maximizing profits or meeting production quotas. One major difference is that we charge a $75 House Call fee per visit.
We also offer our VIP Pets membership program, which includes priority scheduling, waived travel fees, a complimentary annual exam, and 10% discounts on all services and products. For families committed to their pet’s wellness, the membership often pays for itself while making premium care more accessible year-round.
We primarily serve West Hoover, including Trace Crossings and the surrounding neighborhoods. We also have designated service days for the Highway 280 communities around Greystone, Brook Highland, and Eagle Point.
If you’re unsure whether we can reach you, give us a call at 205-509-1499. We’re always looking for ways to better serve our local community, and we’d be happy to discuss your specific location.
Scheduling is simple and built around your convenience. You can book appointments online through our website at tracecrossingspets.com, or call us directly at 205-509-1499 to schedule with our team. We offer same-week appointments for most routine care, and our VIP Pets members receive priority 48-hour scheduling. We’ll send you a confirmation and reminder before your appointment.
On the day of your visit, Dr. Miller arrives in our mobile clinic, parks in your driveway, and provides comprehensive care right there. No need to pack up your pet, no need to leave home. Just open your door and we’ll take care of the rest.
While we operate Monday through Friday during business hours (8am to 5pm, with Fridays ending at 12pm), we’ve established strong partnerships with Steel City Emergency Clinic for after-hours urgent and emergency care. If your pet experiences a true emergency outside our operating hours, you can contact Steel City Emergency directly at 205.336.7542, and we’ll coordinate care with them to ensure continuity of care for your pet.
Your pet’s wellbeing is our priority around the clock, even when we can’t be there in person.
